Data representation: The decimal, binary, octal and hexadecimal number systems, Binary arithmetic in computers, Conversion Algorithms. Binary Codes, Weighted binary codes, Non-weighted binary code, Error
detecting and correcting codes, Representation of characters, integers, and fractions in computers; Alphanumeric codes.
Hardware Components: Input/output units, Memory units, CPU, Logic Circuits; Machine architecture; Distributed Computer system, Parallel Computer System,
